Welcome to Jill Singer Graphics Portfolio Spotlight
This week's spotlight is for a community event that recurs yearly and celebrates the importance of philanthropy. Last year I created the branding for Philanthropy in Action, which included the event logo, fonts and a color scheme to be used and repeated each year. This year's invitation used the same familiar elements in a slightly different way.

A Question for You: Does your business have effective branding? Is it recognizable on it's own?

Tip of the Day: Branding can be applied to businesses, products, events and even people. Consumers and clients will gravitate towards what is familiar first. A branding logo can be a symbol (Nike, Apple); it can be a logotype (Coca Cola, FedEx) or it can combine the wording or initials with a symbol (BMW, NBC). If designed effectively, all can be equally powerful.
