Have you seen our new Dashwood home?

The Dashwood is stylish urban living at its best, with a variety of floorplan options to suit your way of life. Plant some tomatoes or lounge in your pajamas, all on your large, private rooftop deck. Sip your morning coffee and watch your solar panels run the meter backward. Enjoy the good life.

Getting the Kids Involved.

We've had a lot of fun with the local kids this month carving pumpkins and harvesting the first of our community gardens at our welcome center.

Community Garden Harvesting
Scott McGowan of Home Grown Organics and our One Planet Champion for Local and Sustainable Food lead the 3rd Grade Class from the  Madrona School in harvesting our first community garden. The effort was part of an educational program in local and organic foods. The kids harvested the food, learned to cook with the vegetables, and provided what was left to the local food bank at Helpline House on Bainbridge.

Pumpkin Carving
Fall is upon us. In celebration of the season children from our wonderful neighborhood daycares,  Peacock Family Center, and Bainbridge Child Care Centers helped us carve pumpkins for a Halloween display at our model homes.  A big thank you to all these wonderful children for their creativity and joy.

Grow Community SOLAR PROGRAM

When we set out to build Grow Community, we committed to creating a One Planet community that would allow its residents to live a zero carbon lifestyle without spending extra money or compromising the comforts or quality of life that they desired.  We set an immense challenge for our team:  to design and build zero-carbon houses that could sell for less than or equal to market price.
Our incredible team met that challenge and exceeded our expectations, not only designing zero-carbon, solar powered homes that met our price requirements, but creating homes that are incredibly comfortable and pleasant to live in.  The homes are amazing spaces to be in.  Seriously.  If you haven't been to the models homes for a tour, check it out.  We think you'll agree.

Upcoming Events
If you are new to the community, want to meet others who are, or if you are interested in learning more about who we are, please check out some of the upcoming events on our website events page.

Grow Community is a new urban neighborhood on Bainbridge Island, just a 35-minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. With beautifully designed solar-powered homes, shared community gardens and healthy transportation options, Grow allows all generations to enjoy a high-quality lifestyle without the high price.  Welcome home
