Getting the Kids Involved.

We've had a lot of fun with the local kids this month carving pumpkins and harvesting the first of our community gardens at our welcome center.

Community Garden Harvesting
Scott McGowan of Home Grown Organics and our One Planet Champion for Local and Sustainable Food lead the 3rd Grade Class from the  Madrona School in harvesting our first community garden. The effort was part of an educational program in local and organic foods. The kids harvested the food, learned to cook with the vegetables, and provided what was left to the local food bank at Helpline House on Bainbridge.

Pumpkin Carving
Fall is upon us. In celebration of the season children from our wonderful neighborhood daycares,  Peacock Family Center, and Bainbridge Child Care Centers helped us carve pumpkins for a Halloween display at our model homes.  A big thank you to all these wonderful children for their creativity and joy.

Grow Community SOLAR PROGRAM

When we set out to build Grow Community, we committed to creating a One Planet community that would allow its residents to live a zero carbon lifestyle without spending extra money or compromising the comforts or quality of life that they desired.  We set an immense challenge for our team:  to design and build zero-carbon houses that could sell for less than or equal to market price.

Our incredible team met that challenge and exceeded our expectations, not only designing zero-carbon, solar powered homes that met our price requirements, but creating homes that are incredibly comfortable and pleasant to live in.  The homes are amazing spaces to be in.  Seriously.  If you haven't been to the models homes for a tour, check it out.  We think you'll agree.

Upcoming Events
