I know I talk about mentorship a lot, but there's a reason. Your mentor, in today's world, needs to be much more than someone you learn from. They need to be a Trusted Advisor. You know how you feel when you love someone? You see the best possible future for them. You'll do anything to support them. You go gaga over their ideas, but also know, intuitively, which ones will work and which ones need to be tabled for "later" (or never)...that is what you should feel coming toward you from your Trusted Advisor.
They should be helping you chart your course for the short term and for your long-term goals. They should be building your influence by connecting you to powerful players. Quite frankly, your Trusted Advisor should be a love match of sorts. They should love the vision you have created for your life and for your work and legacy. They should love the programs and products you are creating (or they should be guiding you to create something more powerful). Like all of the relationships that involve love, this one should not be entered into lightly. This should be a slow grow, long-term commitment.
If you have a project or a vision that you've had on your to-do list for more than six months, reach out to me and let's discuss it. As your Trusted Advisor, I bring the connections, resources and the insights to help you sculpt your most important work right now - without waiting any longer. Because let's face it, time waits for none of us. It races by, and if you're not in the flow, doing what matters most, it mocks us in its passing.
Here's to YOUR best success,
Kelli
PS: There's this thing that happens when we finally stop "going through the motions" in life, trying to meet endless obligations and drowning in stuff that doesn't really matter - and jump ship to do the ONE thing we know we're meant to do and that will be most meaningful to us. What happens then? Email me and ask!
