On Demand Security Webinar!

Missed out on the Security Solutions workshops and webinar we held in the past few months? Not to worry!

We all could use a little more protection against collections theft. Having an alarm system is not enough. In fact, in a 2009 statewide survey, it was revealed that 54% of organizations in NY do not even have reading room security protocols in place. Are you one of these organizations?

Any organization seeking to provide the best possible security for its collections must put in place coordinated policies that address threats for long term sustainable access to the public. With careful planning, awareness of warning signs, and proactive low cost security solutions, organizations can reduce the window of opportunity for theft of historical collections. Don't miss out on this important training opportunity!

Presenter: Donia Conn, Consultant for Cultural Heritage Collections

After registering, you will receive a link to view the two hour webinar - Watch at your leisure!

Path Through History Weekend Event?
Please Take The Follow Up Survey -
You Could Win a $100 Visa Gift Card!
This year's weekend featured 355 events around the state, many enthusiastic volunteers and many more hours of your time. Thank you for helping to make Path Through History Weekend events happen!

We are very interested in monitoring the effectiveness of the program, and would request that you complete this very short (only 7 questions!) follow up survey as it is a great way to help us to demonstrate the collective impact of heritage events throughout the state. At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to enter into a giveaway* for a $100 Visa gift card!

If your organization held more than one event, we would appreciate you filling out the form for each event held.
