The boatbuilders at Marlow-Hunter, formerly know as Hunter Marine, may have been too successful, if that's possible, with their prodigious production run of more than 600 Hunter 33s. They found that the boat's secondhand market was so vibrant that, in essence, they were competing against themselves for new-boat sales. They decided that by offering a new family cruiser of the same size but with significant innovation and upgrades, they might lure customers back into the new-boat market,and if they made the price very attractive, they might also entice trailer-sailors to make the leap up into manageable keelboat.

HOLIDAY COCKTAILS
TO ENJOY ABOARD
HOT APPLE PIE
Ingredients:
1/4 oz whiskey
1/4 oz apple schnapps
1/4 oz pineapple juice
STEPS:
Mix and shoot or shake with ice and strain as a cocktail.
FROSTY NOGGIN
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz rum
3/4 oz creme de menthe (white)
3 oz prepared dairy eggnog
3 cups vanilla ice cream
green creme de menthe (for garnish)
cookie (for garnish)
STEPS:
1.Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
2.Pour into parfait glass. Top with whipped cream.
3.Garnish with a few drops pf green creme de menthe and a cookie.
