Bucket List

Do you have a "special something" you'd like to accomplish in your lifetime? This was a topic of a recent dinner conversation, realizing that some wishes are simple, like spending more time with your family, and others require great planning and resources, like traveling the world. It is always fun to wish, and even more special when those dreams come true.

Several years ago, Tammi Ketterman's mother traveled with the family to the Las Vegas Jewelry Show. She was there to achieve one longtime goal: to see Celine Dion sing. "Granny" endured the five hour flight, working the show with the family and the extreme heat to spend an evening in an amazing concert venue listening to the woman she believes is the best singer in the world. The show was extravagant with many dancers and costume changes, vibrant lighting, and of course, the dynamic, strong voice of Granny's hero. After the show ended, during the standing ovation, Granny proudly announced, "Ok, I can die now." One of her "Bucket List" items had been checked off and she was content.

Always Wishing

We have had such great success with the "Kettermans Savings Club" that we would like to expand it's benefits. Currently if you are a member of the Ketterman's Savings Club, you pay your $20, in person each month for ten consecutive months, and at the end we give you $40 (for a total value of $240). Each month, TWO drawings for all "current" cards. (cards that have been paid on during the current month).
The first drawing will be according to the same rules that have always applied. (i.e. if your card is drawn and you have kept up with all of your payments on time, your card will be instantly available for a $240.00 store credit, OR a $200 store credit if you may have

missed a month, regardless of the number of payments you have made).

The second drawing will be the "Brand New Wonderful Super Brighton Your Day" Drawing! When you make your savings club payment each month, visit Ketterman's Brighton Room and place items from various Brighton categories (i.e. shoes, handbags, jewelry, belts, etc.) on your "Wish List". If your Savings club card is drawn, you will win up to three of the Brighton items on your wish list, one from each of three categories. The items you win have to be in stock in Ketterman's Brighton Room, so be sure to keep your Wish List current!

Coming Soon

Dan, Tammi, and Daughter #2, Richlyn were at the jewelry show in Las Vegas last week. They spent the week meeting with the designers you've grown to love and selecting inventory that has already started arriving. They did find one fun new jewelry line to bring home and share with you. UnoDe50 was reccommended to us by a former Brighton representative and again by one of Tammi's Brighton Friends. The funky jewelry is made of a hypo-allergenic metal plated with sterling silver and mixes colored stones and leather. It is completely different from anything we have had in our store before and look forward to sharing it with you.

One of the most fun things about visiting a jewelry store is seeing all of the possibilities for owning the beautiful pieces they offer. Even more fun is being allowed to try on the ones you may not be able to own now, but would if the opportunity arose.

We are often asked, what is the biggest diamond you have in the store? Here it is. It is 5.56 carat miner's cut stone with a 3.7 carat diamond halo worth $42,000, but free to try on.

Ivanka Trump designed these earrings with 1058 seed pearls and 2.85 carats of diamonds. $12,500 to own, free to try on.

Another amazing Dabakarov piece that Ketterman's has with 3.25 carats of diamonds. Yours for just $6,345, but free to try on.

While Ketterman's has a rather modest inventory compared to some of what we see at the Las Vegas jewelry show, many of our designers produce pieces that wold be a dream come true to try on.

Fun Fact...

In 1911, Mrs. Evalyn Walsh McLean of Washington, D.C. purchased the Hope Diamond from Cartier.

She wore it somewhat regularly until 1947 when she passed.

Harry Winston purchased Mrs. McLean's entire jewelry collection in 1949, donating the Hope Diamond to the Smithsonian in 1958.
