THE PROPANE CRISIS IS OFFICIAL
The propane shortage set up by the pipelines when the owners decided to serve themselves and the people be damned is now law. "The Heating Emergency Assistance Through Transportation Act of 2014," H.R. 4076, was just signed by the President. This suspends hours of service restrictions on trucks that deliver propane so they can travel farther to find it and make more frequent trips to customers to keep them supplied, even with smaller fills.
Of course, the pipeline owners, who could always change their minds, and think about all of us for a moment as they total their profits, have yet to be even asked the basic questions about their decisions this winter.
