Website Updates
The mileage reimbursement rate has been updated effective January 1, 2014. The rate is now 56 cents per mile. This update is reflected in the travel reimbursement section of our policies and procedures.
For those of you who are frequent visitors to our web site you may have noticed that we have a glossary term of the week that we highlight on the Administrator home page. We now also have an entire glossary of terms available here. We know that accounting terminology can sometimes seem like a foreign language to non-accountants. We hope that this glossary will be a good resource for you to help you translate some of the terms we use most frequently.
Finally, we have added a Service Commitment FAQ page to provide you with deadlines and turnaround times for most of the services we provide our campus constituents. These deadlines and turnaround times should help you better plan your workflow to meet your deadlines.
We also wanted to provide you with an update on our electronic DRF project. In the next few weeks we will have the final programming changes in place from our website developer. We will also start to build out the database of projects and authorized signers that will need to be in place behind the scenes. By February we hope to be testing the process with DRFs that we process internally within the Foundation and then by March we will do a test with one of the campus units. We are looking to roll the e-DRFs out to everyone in early spring.

Congratulations, Towson Tigers!
The USM Foundation would like to congratulate the Towson Tigers football team on their historic season and its run to the FCS national championship game on January 4th. What a tremendous accomplishment!
