Role of EU membership in UK science and engineering research
CaSE and the Engineering Professors' Council have published a new report seeking to inform the current debate around the question of UK membership of the EU, by examining the role of EU membership in UK science and engineering research.

The report contains evidence and insight gained from analysis of available data and interactions with the science and engineering community.
The report's author, Joanna Scales, has also written a summary of the findings for the CaSE website.
New CaSE Membership Manager
CaSE will be welcoming Sharleni Inbanathan as the new Membership Engagement and Development Manager. Sharleni will manage all aspects of CaSE's individual and organisational membership.

Sharleni replaces the former Membership Manager Jenni Lacey, who has taken a position with Cancer Research UK, and we thank her for all her hard work with CaSE.

In other staffing news, CaSE is delighted to welcome back our Director Dr Sarah Main who has been on maternity leave for the last 12 months.

We also say goodbye to Dr Martin Turner, who has worked as Policy Adviser at CaSE over the last year.
