Dear Perspectives Family and Friends,
We are thrilled to announce that Tony Anderson will be the new Board Chair of Perspectives Charter Schools! Tony has long been a dedicated supporter of our students. While leading the Chicago office of Ernst & Young, Tony built a corporate/school partnership that now serves as a model for organizations across the country.
In his new role as Board Chair, Tony will be standing on the very big shoulders of Larry Ashkin. Larry, who will be moving to the role of Chair emeritus, helped grow Perspectives from one small school to a network of five schools serving nearly 2,300 students. Learn more
Spring break is over marking the final stretch of the school year when our graduating seniors will dawn cap and gown, receive their diplomas and prepare for their next step in their education journey. We are proud of the 91% of our graduating seniors who have been accepted to college and been awarded over $9.5 million in scholarships (and counting).
Perspectives alumni will be attending, with full tuition scholarships, some of our nation's finest institutions including Cornell University, Agnes Scott University, Tuskegee University, University of Illinois, Babson College, and Trinity College.
And, later this month we will celebrate another year of Perspectives Charter Schools serving Chicago at our annual gala focused on "Our Journey Living A Disciplined Life". I look forward to this special evening to raise all-important funds to educate and prepare our scholars for a bright future!
We are overjoyed for all our scholars and look forward to hearing of their continued success in college and beyond.

ALUMNUS MIGUEL JIMENEZ
Professor University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
As a young student, I was resistant to A Disciplined LifeŽ (ADL). Like many teenagers, I was critical of anything that looked like a rule. I quickly realized that ADL wasn't a set of rules-it was a way of being. Perspectives provided time and space to reflect on the 26 principles of ADL, practice them, and recognize their positive impact on our lives. Learn More
