| | Congratulations Liesl (Lanzoni) and Ashley Peery! |
Join us in the chapel after Sunday evening services (around 6:45) for a Compline service. Compline is the final church service (or office) of the day in the Christian tradition of praying the hours. The chapel is located on the third floor of 4MS. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the birth and light of Christ with our Christmas Eve Service on December 24th at 5 pm in the Market Square Pavilion. In the event of rain, we will meet in the 4MS conference room.
As we come to the close of the All Souls budget year, our revenue is currently projected to be about $30,000 less than what is needed to cover our operating budget. As you prepare your year-end contributions, please prayerfully consider this situation and your gifts to All Souls.
The 2016 Shepherding Team slate was approved after the service on Sunday, Nov. 22. Erin Callahan, Travetta Johnson, and Jana Morgan Kelly will join the team alongside current Shepherds: Mary Baldridge, Kate Brimer, Danny Bullington, Dan Holbrook, Ginger Kielarowski, and Daniel Odle. Outgoing member Marie Alcorn's tenure is over at the end of the year. Please thank Marie for her three years of service.
"Life at All Souls" is a series of stories written by our people about our people living out their faith and participating in the vision of All Souls Church. We are praying that these stories will encourage you as you follow Christ and live and serve in community. The latest story features Meghan Davis, who writes about traveling thousands of miles from home and finding grace. Check it out here.|
| | Penny and Amelia Peterson | Childcare volunteers are needed once a month. If you have a heart for infants or children and would like to serve as volunteer in our children's ministry, we need you! Contact Melanie at keepingheart@gmail.com. Small grants available. As part of our 2015 10 to the City tithe, money has been set aside for our people to "Seek the Peace of the City" as individuals, as a family, or as a small group. Funds are still available if you know of a project that will bless and positively impact Knoxville. This is especially timely as we near the holidays. Click here to apply for a small grant.

Service, Prayer Times, and Information
Part of the All Souls vision to "seek the peace of the city" is to be an urban monastery, pausing throughout the day to gather with others as we "pray the hours" in our downtown chapel, as well as various locations across the city. Each week, throughout the day, there will be a variety of contemplative prayer services. We invite you to join us. Click here to download a prayer schedule with days, times, and locations.
Church Service: 5 pm in the Square Room in 4 Market Square

All Souls offers several classes for children during our Sunday evening service on the third floor. There is a nursery for babies under the age of one, and two classes for 1 to 2-year olds that meet during the whole service on the third floor. Children between the ages of 3 and 11 stay for the first part of the service and then come upstairs for a time of Bible stories, songs, and fun. Contact Melanie Leach at 865-705-9482 or keepingheart@gmail.com.
If you're moving or going on a mission trip and would like for the church to send you out with prayer during the worship service, contact Jesse at jesse@allsoulsknoxville.com.
