From Dan Holbrook:
As this year's chair of the Nominating Committee (consisting of Daniel Odle, Caroline Carter Smith, Ray Kielarowski, Adam York, and Chip Severance), it gives me enormous pleasure to present a slate of candidates for the Shepherding Team. They are Erin Callahan, Jana Morgan Kelly, and Travetta Johnson.
This year we had an exceptional group of eight nominees, all gifted in so many ways.  We are blessed to have so many in our body with leadership skills willing to serve. Eventually the nominating committee were unanimous in sensing God's will for these three to be called.
After church this coming Sunday, November 8, each candidate will make a brief presentation and be available for a Question and Answer session. The election will be held after church on Sunday evening, November 22. We encourage all members to seek out these candidates, that you may feel prepared for the vote. Also, Marie Alcorn is rotating off the Shepherding Team at the end of December having served as chair this last year. Please thank her for her years of service and much time engaged in service to our body.

Linda Hamilton, Lindsay Heath

From Caroline Smith and Taryn McLean:
Help You Dwell will host a winter clothing boutique, Sunday, November 8, from 2-5 pm at The Hive, 854 N. Central St. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Thistle Farms. For more information, go here.

From Kristin Ponsonby: Milk + Honey will be switching gears for the holidays and selling Thanksgiving pies! "I've been praying about how God would use Milk + Honey to be about more than just making pretty cakes, but to usher in the Kingdom. I'll be partnering with Restoration House of East Tennessee for the holidays. Ten percent of the net proceeds from all pies will be going to this inspiring organization and their community development project The Village, which provides transitional housing for single-mother families in Knoxville. Help me love our city this holiday season." Order Thanksgiving pies online or by phone by Nov. 24th!
Click here for more info on Milk and Honey's website.

All Souls offers several classes for children during our Sunday evening service on the third floor. There is a nursery for babies under the age of one, and two classes for 1 to 2-year olds that meet during the whole service on the third floor. Children between the ages of 3 and 11 stay for the first part of the service and then come upstairs for a time of Bible stories, songs, and fun. Contact Melanie Leach at 865-705-9482 or keepingheart@gmail.com.

If you're moving or going on a mission trip and would like for the church to send you out with prayer during the worship service, contact Jesse at jesse@allsoulsknoxville.com.
