30 minutes and will plan for you to pick up your children at the conclusion of the meeting, instead of before Eucharist.
To prepare for this meeting, we ask that All Souls members prayerfully consider which community service organizations seek the peace of Knoxville through their work in the following categories (organized around the elements of God's vision of a perfect city set forth in Isaiah 65:17-25):
Youth, Families, and Education (Isaiah 65:23)
Leadership Development (Isaiah 65:17-25)
Housing and Care for the Homeless (Isaiah 65:21)
Justice, Reconciliation, Response to Crisis (Isaiah 65:25)
Public Celebrations, the Arts, Hospitality (Isaiah 65:18-19)
Food (Isaiah 65:22)
Spiritual Renewal (Isaiah 65:24)
Economic Self-Sufficiency and Jobs (Isaiah 65:22-23)
At this meeting, each of these categories will have a designated space in the Square Room. Church members will have two blocks of 15 minutes each to go to the top 2 categories that most closely meet their interests and give input into which community partners working in those areas they feel we should support.
