Nursery Help Needed:
1) All Souls is looking for an additional (paid) nursery worker for approximately 2.5 hours each Sunday beginning at 4:45 p.m.
2) We are in need of more volunteers to serve in our children's ministry. The commitment is one Sunday a month. Specifically, we need two helpers in the 2-year-old class, two helpers in the 3-year-old class and one helper in the 4-6-year-old class.
If you are willing to serve these little ones, please contact Melanie Leach at keepingheart@gmail.com.
Pilgrimage Begins Tuesday, September 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. If you are interested in learning more about All Souls or are interested in making All Souls your church home, please sign up here for this 6-week class. More details to follow after you sign up.

In an effort to keep personal information private, we are no longer posting links to the "Take Them a Meal" websites for our families with new little ones. If you would like to provide a meal for our families, we are asking that you email Jill Branson at jill@allsoulsknoxville.com for the link to the meal sign up. We apologize for the extra step, but feel it is a good practice to respect the personal information of our families.
All Souls' Service Canceled on August 30 so that we might join Overcoming Believers' Church for their one-year anniversary celebration.
We have been asked to participate in their worship service and share a meal with them afterwards. The service is from 12-2 pm, dinner is from 2-4.
Parents please note, children are welcome in the service. No childcare provided.

 Celebrating our People
Paul, Nora, and Flora welcomed Wilden Spark on July 31 at 10:01 am. He was 8 lb, 8 oz. Grandma Susanne says, "he is a rare blue moon baby and he's beautiful." If you would like to bless this family by taking them a meal, please email Jill at jill@allsoulsknoxville.com for the link.

From Caroline Smith: Help You Dwell is hosting a Boutique Clothing Pop Up Sunday, Aug 23, 2-5 pm at The Hive (854 N. Central St.). All women of the church are invited to this event. We'll have light refreshments, music, and plenty of space to try on clothing. We're working on a food truck, too! Bill Lee Slab! Workshop, Saturday, September 5th, Mighty Mud, 1300 McCalla Ave., 37915. 10 -11:30 am, lunch break, then 1 - 3:30 pm. Cost is $50. This workshop introduces participants to an approach to building with slabs of clay that breaks away from the box towards a more organic form making. We will work with both thick and thin, soft and firmer clay. Each participant will make a spiral vase, bowl and handled platter. Bill is a professional potter and you see his work each week when you take wine from the goblets during Eucharist.

Come pray with us as we lift up our church body, our city, and each other to God in the chapel of 4MS on the 3rd floor.

All Souls offers several classes for children during our Sunday evening service on the third floor. There is a nursery for babies under the age of one, and two classes for 1 to 2-year olds that meet during the whole service on the third floor. Children between the ages of 3 and 11 stay for the first part of the service and then come upstairs for a time of Bible stories, songs, and fun.
