Please mark your calendars for a Pizza and salad dinner after church THIS Sunday.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet those you may not know and connect with those you do. Pizza, salad, and drinks are provided. Donations will be accepted to offset the cost.   
 
Pilgrimage Begins Tuesday, September 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. If you are interested in learning more about All Souls or are interested in making All Souls your church home, please sign up here for this 6-week class. More details to follow after you sign up.   
 
In an effort to keep personal information private, we are no longer posting links to the "Take Them a Meal" websites for our families with new little ones. If you would like to provide a meal for our families, we are asking that you email Jill Branson at jill@allsoulsknoxville.com for the link to the meal sign up. We apologize for the extra step, but feel that this a good practice to respect the personal information of our families.

On August 30 Overcoming Believers' Church would like to host us for their one-year anniversary celebration. We have been asked to participate in their worship service and share a meal with them afterwards. This event is from 12 -4 pm. More details will be forthcoming but please mark your calendars and plan to attend this event with our OBC brothers and sisters.
PLEASE NOTE: Our evening service will be canceled on this date.

The All Souls Medical Fund is accepting applications for this quarter through August 15. If you have medical, dental, or behavioral health needs not covered by your insurance, or you are uninsured, consider applying. Read the policy and access the application. Ask any of the current members of the medical fund team if you have questions: Kathy Reilly, Roxie Moore, Bob Alcorn, Kelli Morelock, Brad Carter, and Ginger Kielarowski. Forward your application to Brad Carter bradcart@lycos.com or Kathy Reilly kareilly828@gmail.com or drop off with Jill in the church office. 
 
We need photos for the newsletter and website. If you have an upcoming gathering of an All Souls' small group or community, please ask Katie Norrell at katie@allsoulsknoxville.com to drop by to take a few photos to share in our communication pieces and with your people.  
 
Nursery Help Needed:
1) All Souls is looking for an additional (paid) nursery worker for approximately 2.5 hours each Sunday beginning at 4:45 p.m.
2) We are in need of more volunteers to serve in our children's ministry. The commitment is one Sunday a month. Specifically, we need two helpers in the 2-year-old class, two helpers in the 3-year-old class and one helper in the 4-6-year-old class.

Paul, Nora, and Flora welcomed Wilden Spark on July 31 at 10:01 am. He was 8 lb, 8 oz. Grandma Susanne says "he is a rare blue moon baby and he's beautiful." If you would like to bless this family by taking them a meal, please email Jill at jill@allsoulsknoxville.com for the link.

From Meghan Davis: On Friday, September 18, at 7:00 pm I am hosting an open gathering for anyone at All Souls to come and eat, hang by the fire, and enjoy one another's company. If you are thirsty to connect, but perhaps lack opportunity, this is a wonderful chance to do so. This is a potluck so please bring bring something to share. All Souls offers several classes for children during our Sunday evening service on the third floor. There is a nursery for babies under the age of one, and two classes for 1 to 2-year olds that meet during the whole service on the third floor. Children between the ages of 3 and 11 stay for the first part of the service and then come upstairs for a time of Bible stories, songs, and fun.
