Susanne Hassell will be holding a book signing for her latest book, Pilgrim Walk by the Sea, at Union Avenue Books on Sunday, June 28 from 3-5 pm. We would love to see some friendly faces there and this will be a great time to pick up books for yourself and gifts for others. Her son, Paul Hassell, contributed all the beautiful photography. To read more about the book and its companion, Pilgrim Walk in the Woods, or to order online, visit www.holypaths.org/pilgrimwalk .

The Arts & Culture Alliance is pleased to present a new group exhibition by the Artists of 17th Street Studios titled "Amalgam Volume 3". An opening reception will take place on Friday, July 3, from 5 - 9 pm at the Emporium Center. The exhibition will be on display through July 31. Redeemer Church of Knoxville houses the 17th Street Studios, and the space is shared among painters, sculptors, illustrators, drawers, and graphic artists. This is their third annual group exhibition, which features work by All Souls' own Ashley Dawn Addair.

Congratulations to Brittany Decker, who appeared this week on "America's Got Talent." Brittany is the animal trainer for the Knoxville Zoo's African Grey parrot, Einstein. To read more of the story, click here.

Several weeks ago, Doug wrote an article for the Knoxville News Sentinel about one man's journey from homelessness to empowerment. Three weeks later, Doug followed up that story with the story of how that man was reunited with his three sons, who had read Doug's story in the paper and found their dad.

While many people may have enjoyed Bonnaroo for the music, All Souls' Daniel Aisenbrey was there for another reason. Click here to read about Daniel's involvement.

From Jana Morgan Kelly:  I have a friend who, along with her husband and kids, is a missionary to Senegal.  They do community medicine as well as discipleship.  They are looking for someone to come to Senegal this school year to home school their three older children who are in 5th grade, 2nd grade, and kindergarten.  They would also welcome a couple who might tag-team the teaching or where one partner teaches and the other works in further aspects of their ministry.  For more information, please email Jana at janamkelly@gmail.com .

All Souls offers several classes for children during our Sunday evening service on the third floor. There is a nursery for babies under the age of one, and two classes for 1 to 2-year olds that meet during the whole service on the third floor. Children between the ages of 3 and 11 stay for the first part of the service and then come upstairs for a time of Bible stories, songs, and fun. Contact Melanie Leach at 865-705-9482 or keepingheart@gmail.com.

If you're moving or going on a mission trip and would like for the church to send you out with prayer during the worship service, contact Jesse at jesse@allsoulsknoxville.com.
