Congratulations to Kasey Fristoe upon her graduation from the University of Tennessee with a Master's Degree in Public Health. Kasey is the first recipient of the Dr. June Gorski Award, which recognizes a student who has shown potential to make a significant impact in the field of Community Health Education.

The communication team at All Souls has been working together for the last few months discussing how we can communicate the testimonies of people in our body. We are praying that these stories will connect and encourage people as they follow Christ and live and serve in community. "Life at All Souls" is a series of stories written by our people about our people living out their faith and participating in the vision of All Souls Church. This series will continue through 2015. Our first story, written by Luke Lanzoni, features Stephen Otis. You can read about Stephen's experiences following the Holy Spirit, reaching out to kids affected by gang presence in Parkridge, and living in intentional community by clicking here.

Please mark your calendars for an All Souls Pizza Dinner after church on Sunday, May 31. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet those you may not know and connect those you do. Pizza and drinks will be provided and there will be a donation basket if you would like to help defray expenses. You are welcome to bring a dessert or finger food to share.

New Online Giving Option Available:

We believe giving is an act of worship, as we learn to respond in a very tangible way to the incredible generosity of God. We give out of grateful hearts in recognition that God owns everything, and we are to be faithful stewards of all He entrusts to us. We are pleased to now offer an online giving option through Easy Tithe. Easy Tithe conforms to the highest set of security standards in the industry, so your transactions will be secure. Click giving.allsoulsknoxville.com and follow the instructions to set up your account. You can give a one-time gift or set up recurring giving. This will not replace the weekly offertory part of our service, but is an additional way to give tithes and offerings. You may also mail your gift to the church at the following address: 4 Market Square, 37902.

Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) is not one of our community partners through our 10-to-the-City tithe, but we have several people within our body who work and volunteer there. We have signed up for KARM's "Corners of Your Field" program. In the first quarter of 2015, KARM Stores received 26 donations from those connected to All Souls Church. Those donations helped provide 590 meals to guests at Knox Area Rescue Ministries. To learn more about the "Corners of Your Field" program, visit http://karm.org/karm-stores/coyf/.
