Lenten Discussion Group. "No one is born a prostitute. There was a long, hard road to get there." Lent is traditionally an opportunity to pay special attention to the needs of the vulnerable. We will gather in the chapel (3rd floor of 4 Market Square) for four Sundays after church, beginning March 16, to explore, discuss and pray about the realities of sex trafficking and prostitution in our city. We will read excerpts from Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, as well as additional texts and articles. For more information, contact Cally Broome at cybroome@gmail.com

We are updating our information cards for the children in our nursery and 1-2 year-old Sunday School class as we move toward a simple check-in/check-out system for security purposes. Sometime in the next couple of weeks, as you drop off your child at Sunday School, please take a few minutes to look over your child's information card and make any necessary changes. For questions, please contact Melanie Leach at keepingheart@gmail.com.

Danny Norman and Mark Pate will be teaching a class on Exodus in the prayer chapel on Monday nights at 6pm. Themes will be freedom, rest, and learning how to worship God. Contact Danny with questions: daniel.j.norman@gmail.com

knoxvillecommunityCommunity Involvement
All Souls does not take formal positions on doctrinal or ethical positions outside of the Creed. We do, however, support our people as they, under the authority of scripture, in prayer and through community, discern the way of Christ in our world. Following Augustine, we believe in essentials, unity, in non-essentials, charity and in all things love.  We celebrate all the diverse ways our members  follow Christ in the world, even when we disagree with one another. Announcements in the update reflect the many ways our people are serving God in our community. They do not reflect All Souls' endorsement of a particular issue, doctrinal position, or cause.

Happy Birthday Salem!
