OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE IN OUR GATHERINGS
Read the following two needs for our service and, if you have a physical reaction such as falling out of your seat in excitement or quitting your job so you have the time to serve, please let me know. Either we'll plug you into the responsibility or urge you to re-consider your goals for 2014.

Offering Usher Leader: the Offering Usher Leader arrives before the service, sets out Bibles and offering gear, and recruits three fellow sojourners to help them take up the offering. He or she and one other person counts the money, and the gear and Bibles get put back into the cart at the end of the service. We have a need for someone to cover this way of serving our body on the third Sunday of each month for a one-year commitment. Right now, all of the Offering Usher Leaders have beards, so priority goes to someone without facial hair.

Communion Server Leader: the Communion Server Leader arranges four people, which may include him or her self, to serve the wine and grape juice to our body each month. This need is open on the second Sunday of each month for a one-year commitment.

If you have the time and energy, you are welcome to make our liturgy--"the work of the people"--a greater reality in our body by continuing to spread out the input people bring to our gatherings. -Jesse Watkins (jesse@allsoulsknoxville.com - 242-9636)
