When: MONDAY, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS - Nov 5 - Dec 15 Where: Global SEEDS Office 617 Deery Street Knoxville TN 37917 Why: To seek the peace of the city through hospitality and unconditional positive regard to the strangers among us.Our REQUEST FROM YOU is to ask you to be involved by signing up for a meal or two.
The ladies arrive at 8:30 each morning. We eat as soon as they arrive. They begin sewing around 9. Meals are simple. They always like boiled eggs. Additions to the eggs could be biscuits, fruit & pastries, meatless breakfast casseroles, coffee cakes, juice. We provide hot tea and coffee. They do not eat pork as a food item or even as a seasoning. Food can be delivered ahead of time if morning schedules are prohibitive. A class on Healing Prayer will begin on Tuesday, September 11th.
If you are a woman and are looking for a way to plug in or just meet other women at All Souls we would love for you to join us. We will be meeting every Tuesday evening throughout the Fall at the home of Mary Tarwater from 6:30-8:00. Our discussion will include topics such as, Healing our Image of God, The Gifts of the Spirit, and How to Hear God. If you have questions or would like to join please contact Mary Tarwater at mary.tarwater@gmail.com.
If you are a mom with a fussy baby, we now have a TV in the prayer chapel that streams the service so you don't have to miss anything. Thanks Marty Sprenz for doing all the hard work to set this up.

Walk with Us on December 1!
Samaritan Ministry, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, First Baptist Church, and The FAITH Coalition, are teaming up to bring FAITH WALK to Knoxville. We hope to RAISE AWARENESS, REDUCE STIGMA, and to BE THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST in our community. FAITH WALK is a 1.5 mile course in Knoxville, beginning at Immaculate Conception Church at 2:00 p.m. on December 1st (World AIDS Day). On-Line Registration is OPEN NOW! Just Click HERE.
Arts & Culture Alliance Hosts Artist Marketing Seminar
The Arts & Culture Alliance is pleased to present a series of professional development seminars for local and regional artists. The next seminar in the series takes place on Thursday, November 15, from 12:00-1:00 PM featuring Adrienne Outlaw from Nashville presenting a program entitled "Art IS My Real Job: Art Business for Artists".
Members of the Arts & Culture Alliance may attend the seminar for $5; non-members are welcome to attend for $20. The seminar will take place at the Emporium Center, 100 S. Gay Street, in downtown Knoxville. Parking is available at metered spots on the Gay Street viaduct or in the parking lot on Jackson Avenue caddy-corner from the Emporium. Guests are invited to bring a "Brown Bag" lunch.
