Engaging Men Digest - December 2012
|
Greetings,
On the home front, we've been developing OMAV promotional materials and aligning the OMAV and Men's Engagement Subcommittee strategic goals and action plans. Finally, we at the SATF office have started planning for the 2013 Roots of Change conference, so stay tuned for more information!
Peace always,

A Call To Men has released a video entitled " The Next Generation of Manhood," which does a particularly good job of unpacking the connections between the pressures to "be a man" and the mistreatment of and violence against women, and explaining how everyone benefits from a re-visioning of manhood. (H/t Mark McDaniel)
Say NO - UNiTE to End Violence against Women, a campaign of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, has developed a fantastic list of action ideas for bringing the message of ending violence against women to numerous settings.
