Start your Journey with World Vets! Courtney's Volunteer Story

In January we reported that World Vets was a beneficiary of Travelocity's "Travel for Good" contest. Not only did World Vets receive a monetary donation, but contest winner Courtney Vaudreuil, and friend Carole Angelo, got the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua to take part in a World Vets small animal project. We'd like to thank Travelocity once again for visiting and supporting our program in Nicaragua and for sharing Courtney's volunteer story!

We are lucky to have such amazing volunteers who come together to help animals in need. How will you travel for good in 2017? Start your journey and volunteer with World Vets!

Travel for Good - Courtney's Story

Successful Pilot Project Operated in St.Vincent & the Grenadines

Team St.Vincent
A World Vets team has recently returned from St.Vincent & the Grenadines, a southern Caribbean nation. Together with local partners, including support from island government ministries and local volunteers, a very successful small animal pilot project* was executed.  We are happy to report that our free services benefited many disadvantaged areas of St.Vincent and resulted in close to 200 sterilizations being performed!

We would like to thank our dedicated volunteers, the
Vincentian Society for the Protection of Animals (VSPCA) and all of those involved on the ground for making this a remarkable effort. We'd also like to give special thanks to Fondation Brigitte Bardot for their support of this initial project.
