What's more, students and instructors take part in community outreach initiatives. Such activities not only facilitate interaction with the local populace and their animals. It also provides much needed veterinary services in rural communities, all provided at no charge. As such, our IVM Program pairs educational learning with community service for the greater good. This summer our IVM Program benefited hundreds of animals, from cats and dogs to horses, rabbits, and pigs. The students who participated also received a once in a lifetime experience! We'd like to thank all of the veterinary instructors for volunteering their knowledge and skills. We'd also like to acknowledge IVM Program leadership (pictured below), for making this summer's program a success! To coincide with the North American winter break, we have "winter sessions" scheduled during the month of December. Student openings are still available on these upcoming sessions! See dates for upcoming IVM Program sessions hereThis opportunity is not only for students. We have volunteer instructor positions open to licensed veterinarians and/or licensed veterinary technicians.
