Four International Large Scale Spay/Neuter Campaigns Operated during March
In March, World Vets was all over the map providing large scale spay/neuter and animal health campaigns in four different international locations. We had teams providing free veterinary services in Nicaragua, Ecuador, Honduras and San Andres Island. These campaigns resulted in over 700 spay/neuter and additional surgical procedures being performed with more than 1000 animals receiving veterinary care overall.
Working Hard for Donkey Welfare in Tanzania

We have just completed a two week veterinary campaign in Arusha, Tanzania. During this campaign, our teams operated mobile donkey welfare clinics in multiple areas which resulted in close to 1000 donkeys receiving free veterinary services. Following donkey work, we also operated a vaccination campaign where 400 dogs were vaccinated for rabies. See pictures

Shipping Out: Pacific Partnership 2013

It's that time of year again! World Vets is getting ready to send a veterinary team on board the annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission "Pacific Partnership". Our team is quite the international crew this year. World Vets team members hail from Canada, England, Poland and the United States! They will work alongside US Army veterinary personnel and provide veterinary and technical assistance in South Pacific nations that include Samoa, Tonga, Marshall Islands, Kiribati and the Solomon Islands.

World Vets will also be sending a donation shipment of veterinary supplies to animal welfare organization South Pacific Animal Welfare located in Tonga. This shipment will be transported on the USS Pearl Harbor along with our veterinary team volunteering on the 2013 Pacific Partnership mission.
