"Winning Souls...everything should see its purpose and fulfillment in this ultimate goal." This is the statement at the top of my ongoing to do list for 2014. I like to keep this goal in focus in order to direct the course of my actions. At sixty years old, I have looked over the horizon to my "Golden Years" and determined my life purpose for my remaining time on this earth; I want to win souls, help children and train leaders.
Two Very Exciting Projects

Last month we shared with you briefly about the explosive church growth in Vietnam and Laos. These projects are highlighted on the flyer with ways you can help fuel the explosive move of God in Vietnam, Laos and China. Adding to the fuel is a dream coming true of providing over 1000 hours of sound biblical teachings on micro sd chips that can be played in MP3 players, telephones and portable broadcast systems that run on battery, solar or ac current. A great feature of this type of media is that it quickly becomes viral.
God Has a Great Sense of Humor
Sorry to keep dragging my "golden years thinking" into this letter, but... earlier this year I was pondering the Gospel work Cathy and I have done over the last 30 years. I was conveniently putting it in a little box and was sure God would be happy for us to take good care of the work we have established and kind of "take it easy." Literally that day, God dropped a whole new project inside me that has the potential to reach well over 10,000 people with the Gospel and change the lives of thousands of children. I looked to heaven and told God this is going to cost a lot of money and take a lot of time. I guess He didn't realize that!!! Anyhow, we are close to acquiring a nice piece of property to launch this outreach. Can't tell you what all is involved yet, but looking forward to sharing the details with you soon.

Home Built for Two Orphans

Thanks to two short term teams that visited over the summer; New Life Church in Pomona CA and Water of Life Church in Fontana CA, we have built a modest house for two of our children that have been orphaned. The older sibling is studying in college now and the younger is still in our facility at Mae La Noi. They now have a piece of land and a home and a loving community to surround them. Thanks to all who helped and funded this project!

"Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."     James 1:27

Thanks again for the Privilege to Represent You in Foreign Missions!

PS: The Security Project we highlighted last month is still our #1 Year End Project. We will be sharing more about that in the November and December partner letter. The Doi Saket property will cost over $20,000 to secure. We will have more details on Mae La Noi and Ban Den properties next communication.
