The National Guild For Community Arts Education-Partners in Arts Education Grant

The National Guild has received a $275,000 grant from MetLife Foundation to continue the MetLife Foundation Partners In Arts Education Program. The national initiative, now entering its ninth year, aims to improve teaching and learning in the arts by supporting and promoting exemplary partnerships between nonprofit arts education organizations and public schools. Objectives for 2013 include the distribution of grants up to $20,000 to support arts education partnerships during the 2013-2014 school year and the production of a partnership training institute in conjunction with the Guild's Annual Conference for Community Arts Education (Oct. 30 - Nov. 2 In Chicago, IL).

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: Roadmaps to Health Prize

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is pleased to announce the availability of funds for the Refugee Microenterprise Development Project. Diligent Recruitment of Families for Children in the Foster Care System

The Administration for Children and Families with the Department of Health and Human Services is currently soliciting applications for grants that will develop programs to recruit resource families for children in foster care. Liberty Mutual-Responsible Sports Community Grant

The Liberty Mutual Insurance Responsible Sports Community Grant program rewards youth sports teams, clubs, associations and schools who demonstrate their commitment to a Responsible Sports environment. The Community Grant is a free, competition-based fundraising program for youth sports organizations. Teams, clubs and schools from around the country register to participate. Once approved to compete, organizations rally their adult supporters to take a Responsible Sport Parenting or Responsible Coaching quiz and credit the point to the organization. At the end of the three month grant period, the organizations with the most points earn the $2,500 grants.
