Greetings!
Make March your month to become more involved at CJ. Great opportunities to volunteer with and meet fellow parents are right around the corner, so please consider a few of these fun ways to pitch in with members of the school community.
This Tuesday, March 5 is a "parents and adults only" night at the Spring Phonathon. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., faculty, staff and parent volunteers will be calling other parents to ask for their support of the Annual Fund. Training and dinner is provided, and no experience is needed. Please contact or email Caitlin Cronin Bennett in the development office at 461-3740 x201 to sign up.
Monthly parent meetings convene beginning Monday, March 4 with the Blue Green Club at 6 p.m. in room 104 and the Co-Educators at 7 p.m. in room 144. The Parents of Performing Arts Students (PoPS) will meet Thursday, March 7 at 7 p.m. in room 100. See you there!
Finally, join us Thursday, March 14 for a Basket Wrapping Party at 6:30 p.m. outside the athletic office. Parents will put the finishing touches on silent auction items for the CJ Fish Fry on Saturday, March 16. Any adult who would like to volunteer to work a shift Saturday night should contact CJ parent Lenise Knight at (937) 321-8824 or at bit0508@hotmail.com.
Don't forget, pre-sale Fish Fry tickets are now available for just $12 in the athletic office and Welcome Center. Guests ages 21 and up are invited to enjoy an evening of food, games and fun!
We appreciate the effort and time you give back in order to enhance the educational experience for all CJ students!
