End of First Semester

Wednesday, January 16

This year CJ is awarding credit at the end of each semester instead of the end of the year, meaning:

  • A student's grade in each class at the end of the first semester will be added to his/her permanent transcript. Credit will be awarded for each class he/she is passing. The same applies for grades at the end of the second semester (June 7).
  • A student's grade in every class will start over at the beginning of a new semester.
  • If a student has a grade that is an F at the end of either of the semesters, he/she will need to attend summer school for that portion of the class.

With questions about these items, students should please consult with their guidance counselor.

Founders' Thoughts

St. Julie"I ought to die of shame to think I have not already died of gratitude to my good God."

Fr. Chaminade"There are several mutually related characteristics which are recognized in all Marianist schools around the world. They can be summarized as three traits: family spirit, respect for the personality of the child, and a prudent discernment open to the adaptations required by changing times and surroundings."
