Happy Paperback Book Day! While we celebrate all the ways there are to share your content, Paperback Book Day celebrates the look, texture and experience of reading a paperback classic.

We've had a great time this summer representing IBPA members' titles at the BEA show in New York and the recent ALA show in Chicago. If you have photos from an event or festival this summer, please share them with us. July is Family Reunion Month, and we'd love to make a collage of your photos and share your stories with the rest of the IBPA family!

To celebrate the launch of The Unplug Series and the publication of the first book in the series, The Facebook Diet: 50 Funny Signs of Facebook Addiction and Ways to Unplug with a Digital Detox, Live Consciously hosted a fun event in Los Angeles. The evening included a conversation about 'unplugging,' and 'confessions' from the audience about their social media sins! They also had a photo booth where guests could prove that they had taken time to 'unplug,' and have fun!. And, this month, Publisher Gemini Adams was featured with The Facebook Diet on the Today Show in a segment challenging the hosts to "Unplug" called "Need a digital detox? Try a 'Facebook Diet'!"

Tom North (True North Productions, LLC), author of True North - The Shocking Truth about "Yours, Mine and Ours",  has been busy. He was featured on the television program, "Feedback at Five" with Theresa Wright on Hearst Television, KSBW NBC/ABC, Central Coast, California - Aired Sunday, July 7th, 2013 at 5:00 PM. In addition, Tom was featured in the Cover Story in the Monterey County Weekly and most recently he appeared with Bill Thompson on The Bookcast. Great job, Tom!
