DreamWorks Animation creates high-quality entertainment, including CG animated feature films, television specials and series and live entertainment properties, meant for audiences around the world. The Company has world-class creative talent, a strong and experienced management team and advanced filmmaking technology and techniques.

Responsible for storyboard cleanup in terms of revisions and additions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Director to review storyboards. Ask questions, clarify notes and ensure storyboard revisions are adhered to per feedback provided.
  • Work closely with creative department leads to ask questions and discuss issues
  • Responsible for ensuring that storyboards align with creative ambitions, vision, and style for each episode.
  • Ensure that post-animatic storyboard includes all final dialog, backgrounds, direction, and action.
  • Ensure production staff and creative department heads are in sync on status.
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met and alert appropriate production staff if deadline is in jeopardy.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to align accurately to style of the show
  • Strong drawing and mechanical skills
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Works well under pressure
  • Solid design software/hardware knowledge and ability to come up to speed on new tools and technologies.
  • BA/BS preferred, or 1-2 years storyboard revision experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
