Our new home!

BREAKING NEWS! lamorinda Sunrise Rotary has a new meeting home as of March 1, 2013. President Mark Roberts and PE Hays Englehart, having spent countless hours and over 40 visits to possible meeting venues, finally chose Celia's Restaurant in Lafayette. They are excited to have our business and we are equally pleased to have such a positive solution at hand. The Board was quick to approve the change. We thank Postino for our seven year run there, but are nonetheless happy with being welcomed so warmly to this excellent new location.

Recognition of our newest Paul Harris fellow...

Cal presented our other President Elect (we need a shorter title for him) Leander Hauri, with his Paul Harris fellowship recognition. Thank you Leander for your support of the Rotary Foundation.

Laura bravely marches into the Lion's den

Laura noted that of the 71 clubs she has visited we are the only ones who fined her. And the main purpose of her visit was to thank us for our $1,000 donation for Kenya Smiles. She reported that overall contributions to date are $46,000, with a  3.5 times match by the Rotary Foundation!
