Oak Lane Subdivision Update

Dear Elm Road Neighbors,
As you may know, a two lot subdivision has been proposed at 14695 Oak Lane, and a public information meeting was held on February 20. The property owners, Art and Sonia Stunard, have requested design modifications from County subdivision regulations to allow the proposed private street to be constructed as a long driveway (modifications include decreasing the road width and eliminating road lighting). The Planning, Building and Zoning Committee will hear these requests on Tuesday, June 3 at 8:30 a.m. on the 10th Floor of the County Building, located at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan. Links to the full modification request and staff report are available on the meeting agenda. The first attachment describes the requested modifications. The staff memo explains the requests, gives staff recommendation and addresses questions about future expansion. Maps are in the meeting agenda. This is the first item on the agenda, so will be heard right around 8:30 a.m.
