This five-part series draws upon the illuminating insights of visionary astrologer Ellias Lonsdale and Mark's 25 years experience practicing with the tools Ellias learned and developed. 

Soul Level Astrology's roots are in the pioneering 20th Century astrology movement of Dane Rudyhar and Marc Edmund Jones, who both fundamentally shifted the understanding of astrology from being a fixed system of meanings, back to an organic, living system where the stars come alive.
 

Now, a study pod has formed to prepare inexperienced and experienced astrologers to embark upon the Soul Level Astrology Certification Program taught by Mark Borax in January 2015. In two and a half years, you could join the growing circle of Soul Level Astrology graduates.

Course Description

This hands-on training course is led by Mark Borax, assisted by his wife, Marcella Eversole, to teach you to study birth charts the magical visionary way Mark was taught in his seven-year apprenticeship with Ellias Lonsdale. Through trust, intimacy, supplementary reading, lecture and discussion, you will not only make sense of the birth chart, but also explore a profound new way to grasp life itself. By the end of the program you'll be qualified to interpret the hidden dimensions of human beings through the birth chart, and be certified by The College of Visionaries & Wizards to practice Soul Level Astrology.

Semesters run from September through December, and January through May, with June, July and August off. Each class is recorded as an mp3 file you can download in case you miss a call or wish to hear it again or save it for posterity. In addition, we'll use the email discussion group to explore subjects we don't have time for in class.

Optional In-Person Weekends

There will be one optional in-person session during each semester, hosted at our home with no extra charge, (except your travel and lodging.) Many students carpool from the airport and stay in the same hotel to reduce expenses and socialize. These in-person events become the high point for each level.

Level 1:  Soul Level Astrology Basics

In the first semester you'll learn the unique vocabulary of Star Genesis, which is the basis for Soul Level Astrology, by applying it to class charts, which are the only charts we'll use during the course.

Star Genesis is a system discovered by Ellias Lonsdale in his dream of Atlantis in the late 1970s. This is a vast system for tracking the soul through birth, death and beyond, that Mark was trained in during the apprenticeship described in his book, 2012: Crossing the Bridge to the Future. Soul Level Astrology is the form of star work Mark created in 1987, which uses the birth chart as a window to the soul, and leans heavily on Star Genesis.

This first semester introduces the two main components of Star Genesis, which are the 4 Directions of Crown, Root, Inbreath and Outbreath, and the 12 Lifestreams, connected to the Houses, Aspects and Signs. We'll also study the Moon Phases, Stars of Destiny, and Dharmic Currents, ways for tracking the growth of the soul through life.

Level 2: The Building Blocks of Soul Level Astrology

Now that we've learned a common language we'll grasp the tools needed to begin practicing Soul Level Astrology: Planets, Signs, and Chart Shapes, which will enable you to identify Key Planets. You'll begin to learn how to weigh and blend diverse chart factors. To help you practice chart reading we'll draw buddy matches from a blind pull, linking you with another student whose chart you can become familiar with, along with your own.

Level 3: Deepening Your Studies

Mark will introduce his Step-by-Step list of chart interpretation. We'll also study Oriental Animal Years, Planets Conjunct Angles and Nodes, Atlantean Numerology, Birth Cards, and Review the Houses.

Level 4: Putting It All Together

In this crucial penultimate semester, the accent is on synthesizing what we've already learned, with only three new subjects added: cosmic number (Atlantean numerology), birth cards, and timing cycles. The remaining classes will focus on Mark's step-by-step chart interpretation list.

Level 5:   Degree Frequencies                                                                                                       Degree Frequencies is a fascinating system Ellias Lonsdale discovered for identifying the essence of human beings, which takes astrology far beyond where it's gone before. Rather than being connected to the Signs, it's connected to the numbers 1 -30, as applied to the Planet degrees. Mark will elucidate content from thirty lectures Ellias delivered in 2002, and apply the material to students who have those frequencies strong in their charts.
