Abbe Seldin, MLS PIN's Representative "Over the Bridge"
When it comes to choosing a representative for your business, the perfect candidate would be competitive, loyal, ambitious, and an all-around nice person. This may explain our decision in 2008 to recruit Abbe Seldin to represent MLS PIN on Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard.
Abbe was a competitor, even in high school - she fought, and won, her way onto the school's all-male tennis team with the help of future Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Abbe still plays competitive USTA tennis, and is a certified USPTA teacher. Professionally, she has been in sales most of her life, including a stint selling advertising and promotions to large corporations such as Bank of America and General Foods. A devoted animal lover, in her spare time she breeds lizards and tortoises, and visits nursing homes, hospitals, and schools with her dog Bubala, a certified therapy dog who helps teach kids to read. Did we mention she's an all-around nice person?
Her favorite part of the job is getting an initially reluctant office to subscribe after years of visits (to do this, she touts MLS PIN's lucrative database of off-Cape 2nd home buyers and renters). Her goal is to educate and inform the entire Cape and Islands of the benefits of MLS PIN, one office at a time. Thanks to her ambition and loyalty, she's well on her way towards achieving that goal. Game, set, match.
