Families Moving Forward, Jan. 18-25

Opportunities to Serve!

Three times a year, St. Philip the Deacon provides a safe, well-fed, compassionate home for families who are experiencing homelessness. Starting Sunday, Jan. 18, for one week, we will be hosting two families with four parents and nine children -- ages 21, 18 (2), 15, 13, 12, 8, 6 and 4. We are hoping for lots of additional help this week. You can help us care for these families by serving as:
  • Dinner hosts
Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • Family games and crafts leaders
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
  • Dinner preparers
    Monday, Thursday
  • Overnight hosts
    Thursday, Friday
  • Breakfast hosts
    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
  • Food/grocery donators
(you will receive a call about needed items)
  • Launder Linens
    (mostly after week is complete)
We would love to hear from you as soon as possible. Please call or email Sandy Dockter for times and details at 763-476-9153 or sandymdoc@gmail.com. Sign-up sheets and descriptions will also be in Fellowship Hall this weekend. We appreciate your participation in this vital ministry!
