Hi Folks!
Not a full fledged Newsletter today; rather, I have three things I think you might like to participate in: Two special Markets and a Dust Bowl.

Cape Ann Thanksgiving Market Arrowhead will be back at the Cape Ann Farmers' Market this Saturday. Market Manager Niki has planned a special Harvest and Thanksgiving Market at the Unitarian Church in Gloucester. I understand this Market was a lot of fun and a huge success last year. Arrowhead will be there with our low spray apple varieties including Macouns and Ginger Gold among others. Also a special blend of Sweet Cider for the Holiday, definitely not your average Cider, Beurre Bosc Pears and Cider Donuts. Jean and Lisa will be on hand to help you. Your SNAP/EBT Card is welcomed at the Cape Ann Market. Other Farms and Bakeries etc, will have about all you need for your Thanksgiving meal and it's all produced locally. Please see the Poster below.

Dust Bowl
This is a Ken Burns Documentary showing on PBS this Sunday and Monday evenings. If you are interested in or involved in Agricultural Resource Conservation, and what happens when we run amok of good Farming practices, then this bit of US history is for you. And remember---if you eat, you are involved in Agriculture. I highly recommend this Film. View the trailer here. | Dust Bowl |
