The Affordable Care Act (ACA) Is Coming!
Do you know how - or even whether - your insurance situation will be changed by the new national health care law? If you, your family, or small business will be affected when ACA is fully implemented on January 1, 2014, it's time to start exploring your options. KQED News has created a great starting point. " Obamacare Explained: A Guide for Californians" includes information for you as a consumer or small business owner. The State of California's web site for learning about ACA and selecting an insurance plan is CoveredCalifornia. Although not California-specific, two additional resources are an overview for consumers by the Institute of Medicine and the Consumer Reports web site. You will find the most extensive information on the federal web site HealthCare.gov.
