The story of Superman relates that he was born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, before being rocketed to Earth as an infant by his father Jor-El, moments before his home planet Krypton's destruction. Discovered by a Kansas farming couple, the child is raised as Clark Kent. Superman later resides in Metropolis always looking out for his primary love interest, Lois Lane and keeping a watchful eye out for his archenemy, supervillain Lex Luthor.
