The Latin American and Caribbean Aquaculture Conference (LACQUA´15) this year is being organised together with the Feira Nacional do Camarão 2015 (FENACAM´15) and the South American Regional Aquaculture (SARA´15).
Queen Letizia of Spain named FAO Special Ambassador for Nutrition
Queen Letizia of Spain has been named FAO Special Ambassador for Nutrition in a ceremony in Rome today. The appointment was made in recognition of the Queen's personal commitment to building a world free from hunger and malnutrition, and Spain's efforts to promote global food and nutritional security.
It also reflects the Queen's strong interest in scientific research that supports health, education and innovation. As Special Ambassador, Queen Letizia will engage in raising awareness of global hunger challenges and building public support for hunger eradication.
Aldi has scooped the MSC Convenience Retailer of the Year award at this year's MSC UK Awards. The discounter shot to the top of the table to win the award with competitor Lidl in close second place. This year's awards also saw John West win the Canned Fish Brand of the Year award for the first time.
