The International Milling Directory's new direction is really taking shape. Our plans to further the reasons to use the directory will only grow with the upcoming 23rd edition for 2014-15!
Recently at VIV Europe in The Netherlands and at Cereals in the UK, there were more directories making their way into the industry. New products are already superseding and outmoding our Equipment Guides.
We were also very happy to recently mail 10 copies by order out to Graintec in Denmark. This member company delivers engineering, procurement and construction solutions, particularly well-known in the areas of extrusion machinery for petfood and aquaculture feed. They also branch into process automation, pelleting technologies and mixing facilities. We invite you to place orders for the printed International Milling Directory, if you want you, your sales staff and your customers to benefit.
nabim, the National Association of British and Irish Millers, have once again launched its Milling Wheat Challenge for 2014. Here at the International Milling Directory will watch and anticipate the winner with great excitement. nabim, supported by HGCA, announced the three farmer finalists for the 2014 Milling Wheat Challenge at the Cereals Event on Wednesday 11th June at Cereals, with a winner announced in London later in the year at a celebratory dinner. Now in its fifth year, the aim of the Challenge is to find the UK and Ireland's best milling wheat grower.
The 2014 finalists are:
- Robert Chapman, South Lodge Farm, Barnwell, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
- Rick Davies, Newton Lodge, Clifton Reynes, Buckinghamshire
- Joseph Edwards, Boddington Estates, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
We look forward to more registrations and contact with many more International Milling Directory users and members as we continue to progress with our new printed edition.

Sincerely
Tom Blacker & Tuti Tan
