Dear Millers and Subscribers to The International Milling Directory!
Welcome to another e-Newsletter from the International Milling Directory.
We are going to be busy this month as I'm sure you are. We will be starting this week in London, UK, before moving on to Antalya, Turkey.
The London and South East Miller's Society are again holding an interesting event this time called 'The Roller Flour-Milling Revolution from 1850s to the Present' with Robert Shorland-Ball, introduced by Bryan McGee in nabim's central London offices.
Following the London event we will be distributing approximately 500 copies of the International Milling Directory in Turkey all within the same week.
The 10th anniversary conference and exhibition of the Turkish Flour Industry Federation is taking place in Antalya. This will be largest gathering for flour millers, wheat traders and suppliers, including representatives from the bread and bakery industry. It will attract producers in the region with more than 600 national and international delegates and around 50 exhibitors are expected.
Covering three days of wheat, flour and bread with speakers coming together from around the world. Familiar faces may be Erhan Özmen from the Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation (TUSAF), Amy Reynolds from the International Grain Council (IGC) and Melinda Farris from the International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM).
We are going to be in Thailand for VICTAM Asia, in early April were we are organising the GRAPAS Conference. If you have not registered you products for the GRAPAS award, do submit it now. You can contact us for more information on this. If you have registered we wish you luck!
Online millers The other great news is that we are engaging with more millers online. Our blog and social media is all accessible from www.millinginternational.com and we are experiencing great levels of interest and a real upshot in growth about the regular online content coming to you.
Likewise, with a new season as well, a new edition of the International Milling Directory follows. There has been some interesting news and increasing interest for the new directory already. We are formulating the new directory and can proudly announce a new advertising partner with Lambton Conveyors - the milling conveying manufacturer originally and FIGAP, a scientific and technological-based summit for the livestock industry taking place in Mexico on October 22-23, 2014.
We are working towards the 23rd edition already, so please do go to www.internationalmilling.com to renew or update your listing now. If you have not already received a copy, or wish to create a unique membership with different items included in the online, app or printed versions then please do get in touch about how you wish to be involved more.

 GRAPAS innovation award
Our sister publication, Grain & Feed Milling Technology magazine is proud to be co-organiser of the annual GRAPAS award for innovation.
You may think we have, over the past 150 years achieved all the progress we can towards creating an efficient milling industry the provides safe food at affordable prices and delivered to consumers on a timely basis. Not so.
There is still significant progress being made towards those objectives on an annual basis and the GRAPAS Award is designed to recognise the advances being made by industry in an area that has largely disappeared from view.
That recognition is made in the form of an award called GRAPAS, and is made at the milling industry's most dedicated event - a three sector co-located exhibition held in Asia every two years and in Europe every fourth year. To find out how you can enter -
