Another great month for the International Milling Directory! After the 22nd version was very well received by delegates and exhibitors earlier this month at the important industry events IAOM in Tunisia and JTIC in France, I am delighted to say that we have raised the size of its print distribution again. This will be the largest print run yet and means we can get it to more flour and feed mills, formulation companies, agribusiness professionals, animal nutrition, animal health, ports and logistics and machinery buyers than ever before.
The new edition brings more Equipment Guides - including 12 pages of Symaga's flat-bottomed and hopper silos - in the newly expanded Silos & Storage section. There is also expanded coverage of international organisations, covering more grain, feed, flour and farming organizations in more countries than ever - including the growing markets of the Middle East, Africa and South America.
I hope that you are also looking forward to the new edition. IAOM members are due to receive a free copy, bringing the directory to more of the right people than ever before. We will also be looking ahead to distributing it at important industry events such as IPPE in Atlanta, USA, and many more in 2014, as the industry guidebook for our well-established title Grain & Feed Milling Technology magazine. If you don't have your print copy yet, take a sneak peak at the digital version here!

 GRAPAS Awards entries open
Our sister publication, Grain & Feed Milling Technology magazine is proud to be co-organiser of the annual GRAPAS award for innovation.
You may think we have, over the past 150 years achieved all the progress we can towards creating an efficient milling industry the provides safe food at affordable prices and delivered to consumers on a timely basis. Not so.
There is still significant progress being made towards those objectives on an annual basis and the GRAPAS Award is designed to recognise the advances being made by industry in an area that has largely disappeared from view.
That recognition is made in the form of an award called GRAPAS, and is made at the milling industry's most dedicated event - a three sector co-located exhibition held in Asia every two years and in Europe every fourth year.

EVENT THOUGHTS
Have we missed any events that you are attending but we didn't include them?
Maybe ... but please let me know. We work very closely with important events organisers that matter to our readers. We work hard for them to make sure their events and their outcomes are reported - and we cover them regularly, both before, during and after.
As an international media for the milling industry, we are obliged to encourage influential companies to join us not only as advertisers but as partners in contributing to conferences, exhibitions and events and do their part in making 'Feeding 9 Billion People Safely and Affordable by 2050' possible
