International Aquafeed
October 2013 Newsletter

A word from the Directory Co-ordinator

New Directory Coordinator Tom Blacker
Tom Blacker

Welcome to the new version of this newsletter.

With so many changes, it is hard to know where to start but thanks go to all new and returning advertisers showing the industry some of the latest innovations.

The blog at  millinginternational.com is regaining prominence in the melee of online milling industry news and information. Member companies of the International Milling Directory should send in press releases and product news for coverage on the blog. Of course, it could even cross over into our sister publication which needs no introduction, Grain & Feed Milling Technology.

Myself and my team are set to be attending the next major industry events: IAOM-MEA in Tunisia; UK Grain in the UK (would you believe?!) and JTIC in France. All key events for millers. Attendees will get the chance to see and use our latest digital version of IMD. Distribution and sale of the print copies will take place during November and December - being the most likely months to be the first to receive copies of the new 22nd edition for 2013/14.

Great news from Turkey! Perendale has been appointed UK agent for IDMA 2015. This event is rapidly becoming a leading international event for all in milling, handling and processing industries. We are proud to be able to serve our UK industry (which we have been doing for more than 22 years) and can help them apply for UK-government assistance towards the cost of exhibiting. Do contact me for more details.

We shouldn't overlook the fact that publications like the IMD do a sterling job in promoting products and services across borders. Our readers - millers everywhere - are keenly interested to know the latest developments milling technology companies have to offer, and it's often through a directory likes ours that readers/potential buyers can evaluate all the options that are open to them. We put much time and effort in bringing into the publication all those involved in international trade in our sector.  We continue to encourage companies to highlight their products with us so that you, our reader, has the widest choice possible when it comes to buying in the international marketplace. We look forward to making the 2013/14 edition more widely distributed than ever before!

Companies that have recently registered or renewed this month (country of location in brackets) are:-

GO EST (Ukraine)
SALUC S.A. - PRECIBALL Division (Belgium)
IDAH (Taiwan)
