Your Wedding is A Work of Art
RAM's Wustum Museum Offers An Exquisitely Beautiful Setting
Hundreds of ceremonies have taken place at RAM's Wustum Museum over the years, each as distinct as the individual wedding parties.  The museum caters to those who love the natural beauty of the space as a setting for their timeless event.
Racine, WI   April 9, 2015  -  RAM's Wustum Museum is one of the most beautiful locations in Southeastern Wisconsin to host a formal event. Located at 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine on 13 acres of park and a one-acre formal garden, Wustum features a setting designed by famed Wisconsin landscape architect Alfred Boerner. The former Wustum home, an 1856 Italianate-style farmhouse that originally housed the museum's permanent collection, sits at the heart of the campus. This elegant and exceptional environment is the centerpiece for creating an everlasting memory for the wedding party and guests.

Ceremonies are offered when the gardens are blossoming, from the second weekend in June through the second weekend in September. In addition to the flora, the grounds are home to breath-taking art works, a fountain, and a pond, which provide a picturesque background for stylish wedding photographs.

The unique gazebo area offers charming bench seating and standing room ample enough for 125-150 guests. The grounds offer space for small groups of musicians as well as electrical outlets for musical instruments. RAM's Wustum Museum encourages guests to enjoy the lovely grounds and wonderful exhibitions as part of their experience. Each wedding party has the grounds and back up interior space reserved for a 2.5 hour time period.  The museum does not provide reception or catering services.

The museum's front desk lead reception staff person serves as the main liaison to the wedding party. She helps with any concerns or questions in advance, can direct the wedding party on reserving a minister or judge as well as musical arrangements. On the day of the event, the lead reception staff person is on-site to help with any last minute details, greeting and hosting wedding guests, and can help facilitate the placement of the party procession. Museum staff is happy to help in any way to make the celebration memorable.
