Do Some Art Hopping at Local Racine Businesses
RAM's Wustum Museum of Fine Arts is excited to announce a new program that brings opportunities to make art inside downtown Racine businesses, including envi Ultra Lounge, Uncorkt, and Dewey's Restaurant and Sports Bar. Art Hopping combines cocktails with a little nosh and a whole lot of creativity!
"We felt it was important to work with some of our wonderful downtown pubs and eateries, to encourage support of local establishments and the visual arts in Racine," explains Tricia Blasko, RAM Curator of Education. "Not only will we be painting on canvases, but we will also explore a wide variety of art techniques and DIY (Do It Yourself) concepts inspired by contemporary craft and studio arts. But best of all, you get to sip while you create!"
No art experience necessary! RAM's Art Educators will be on-site to guide patrons step-by-step through the creative process. The $35 registration fee includes the art activity, all supplies, and two drinks. Advanced registration is required. Visit www.ramart.org/education/art-classes for more information and to register online.
