Invites You to The Riverside Center

For an Evening of Dinner & Theatrical Performance

music notes

Ladies,

You are cordially invited to an evening of dinner and theatrical performance at the Riverside Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia, on March 9, 2013. Please join us once again for a time of fun, fellowship and great dinning (you may invite a friend, spouse, etc.). If you joined us the last time, you know what a spectacular time we had. If you have never been, the reviews on this venue are great!

The group rate is $54.00, which includes dinner, the show, all taxes and your waiter's gratuity. This is a waiter served dinner, not a buffet. The dress is business casual (no jeans, shorts or flip flops). The facility is wheelchair accessible and equipped for the hearing impaired.

In order to get the group rate, we must reserve by payment in advance a minimum of 12 seats. To insure that we get the best seating, the earlier you pay the better. The deadline for payment to this event is February 26. I will need your payment in cash, because the purchase is made by credit card, via telephone. You may pay after February 26, but group seating will not be guaranteed.

If you are interested, a representative from the W.O.E. Ministry will be at the booth (Marumsco Plaza), or the Commons area (Hylton High School) after service.

Blessings,

Elder Pat Lowery

Highlighting the prodigious comic and musical soul of 1930s Harlem, this sassy, finger-snapping revue features the sometimes rowdy but always delightful songs of the inimitable "Fats" Waller. Evoking a time when Manhattan nightclubs such as The Cotton Club and The Savoy Ballroom were the rage of high society, a versatile cast struts, swings, and energizes the music Waller made famous from downtown Tin Pan Alley to Hollywood to American and international concert stages. Hailed by critics as perhaps the most popular and well-crafted Broadway revue of all time, it weaves a "traveling party" theme with songs infused with the joys, heartaches and humor of man/woman relationships, among these, Lookin' Good But Feelin' Bad, Honeysuckle Rose, I've Got a Feeling I'm Falling, Cash for Your Trash, Squeeze Me, Jitterbug Waltz, I'm Gonnna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter, I Can't Give You Anything But Love, and It's a Sin to Tell a Lie. The title song reminds us that although we may deny "misbehavin'" - "one never knows, does one?"
