Event Wrap Up 2015   EventWrapUp

SunTel's Annual Open House on October 22nd was bigger and better than ever before!!

The day long Tech Fair offered 15 unique breakout sessions hosted by SunTel's various partners as well as a Vendor Fair which included a drawing for a Go Pro Camera and Apple watch.  Sessions were varied and covered everything from Unified Communications, Cloud, Physical Security, Cyber Crime and Network Security.

Registrations were up 27% this year.  The day culminated with a fabulous networking reception for customers and vendors.  We converted our training center into a "pub room" complete with colored orbs, a lit up SunTel bar and unique appetizers.

Next year, SunTel will celebrate 30 years and Open House 2016 will be an event not to be missed!!

E911 Business Sessions:  November 17-18
Enhanced 911 will be a reality for all Michigan companies by December 31, 201
6 according to House Bill 4683.  There may be many hoops business will have jump thru to become compliant.

In order to assist our customers, SunTel hosted two Information Sessions at our Troy Headquarters.  Over 50 attendees were able to listen to a presentation on E911 as well as take part in Q&A throughout the sessions.

Businesses need to start planning their strategy for compliance which may include mapping their office/campus layout, seeking legal council on compliance issues, assessing current carrier capabilities and much more.

SunTel will be available on a consultative basis to assist in the process.  We will host other E911 Business Sessions so our customers can feel confident in how to move forward under this legislation.

Contact your SunTel Account Manager for more information.

Critical Information on E911

Time is ticking . . . is your company E911 compliant?  Michigan Legislation / House Bill 4683 requires compliance by December 31, 2016.  The right E911 solution can help save lives and reduce liability risks.  SunTel is offering E911 Informational Sessions
to help you stay on track with what needs to be done prior to December 2016.  Please visit our website at

Tis the Season for Giving

SunTel employees have teamed up over the years in support of various charities.

This year SunTel chose to donate to Bridges for the Fallen.

On August 6, 2011 a Chinook helicopter crashed in Afghanistan during a night raid resulting in the loss of members of SEAL Team 6.  SOCS Heath N. Robinson (SEAL) lost his life that day.  Heath was also the nephew and cousin of SunTel Services employees.

The Bridges for the Fallen program assists volunteers in establishing memorial plaques honoring our fallen heroes.  The Cut River Bridge along Highway 2 in the Upper Peninsula was selected by Heath's mother as a tribute to her son.  The memorial plaques on either side are made possible through private donations.

SunTel employees were proud to contribute their Casual Friday's funds this year in honor of Heath.

Save $$ on Carrier Services   SunTelNews
In 2016 SunTel will continue to assist our customers with the selection and implementation of their Carrier Services.  The demand for increased bandwidth and SIP Services provides technical and cost challenges for companies.  E911 legislation may also require some businesses to take a look for the first time at their services.

Let SunTel help!  Our Carrier Services Consultant will provide a cost analysis of multiple options with multiple carriers.  Often times this results in a major cost savings for your company.
