Alumni Convocation on October 8
Forum with Ruth Meyers, Eucharist
Join us at CDSP on October 8 for the annual Alumni Convocation and Eucharist. From 3-5 pm, the Rev. Dr. Ruth Meyers, academic dean, will lead a forum titled "Imagining a New Prayer Book." Participants will examine the 2015 General Convention resolution calling for a plan for revision of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer and consider how a new prayer book can help the Episcopal Church to gather and form faithful disciples in the 21st century. At 5:45 pm, we will gather in All Saints Chapel for the convocation Eucharist, at which honorary degrees will be awarded to the Rev. Eliza Linley '90, the Rev. Canon Robert Brooks '73, and Dr. Ronald Johnson.
Learn more on the website and RSVP via email to the Rev. Laurel Johnson '06, director of alumni affairs. The forum will also be streamed live online; check the September newsletter for more details.
