On December 2, students at CDSP will support a growing online giving initiative called Giving Tuesday. Our goal is to create the single biggest day of online giving in CDSP's history!

On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, visit CDSP on FacebookTwitter and Instagram and share posts on your own pages to help spread the word about the innovative ways that CDSP prepares students for ministry in today's church. Be sure to use the hashtag #cdspgivingtuesday.

Then, you can visit our new website to make an online gift to the annual fund.

Women in Ministry Celebration
November 6 celebration draws greetings from across Anglican Communion

On November 6, more than 100 people gathered at CDSP to celebrate the St. Margaret's Visiting Professorship with speakers, a book talk, Eucharist and a festive dinner.

Leaders from across the Anglican Communion sent greetings to the event, including Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, who wrote, "Although women have exercised vital ministry since Old Testament times, the church has been slow to recognise and resource it. In many - even most - parts of the world this is still very much the case. I am therefore delighted to hear of this new initiative, and not least at the vision for the new professorship at CDSP to serve the global Anglican Communion." Read more greetings on our website.

The Rev. Dr. Paula Nesbitt gave the keynote adderss, titled. "Women Leading Church, Leading Communion: Why Gender Still Matters." Dr. Matthew Price, vice president for research and data, Church Pension Group, gave the response. Watch the video on our website.

Dr. Jenny Te Paa Daniel, the first St. Margaret's Visiting Professor, facilitated a discussion with Maggie Foster '16, Richard Hogue '16, the Rev. Eric Metoyer '11, and the Rev. Liz Tichenor MDiv '12, MA '13. After a festive dinner, Professor Te Paa Daniel, one of the editors of "Anglican Women on Church and Mission" (Church Publishing 2013), led a discussion with co-editors Kwok Pui-lan and Judith Berling. Watch the videos on our website.
