Summit Land Conservancy wants to help you stay informed about decisions being made that can impact our local environment, open spaces and neighborhoods. The Snyderville Basin Planning Commission will be reviewing plans for the Basin Recreation expansion and the new transportation hub. Summit County is holding a transportation Open House and the Summit County Council will be receiving an update on Congressman Bishop's Public Land Initiative. Each of these 4 items are detailed below.

Fieldhouse Expansion 
 
BACKGROUND: Basin Recreation is planning an addition to their Fieldhouse that would allocate 29,930 sq. ft. of Institutional Density granted through the
Newpark Development Agreement. This will include a Gymnasium, Pool with a warming tub, and a Stair enclosure on the north end of the Fieldhouse. The full proposal of what is being requested can be found in the Staff Report
 
WHO: Snyderville Basin Planning Commission. 
 
WHAT: Commission will review the proposed Final Site Plan, conduct a Public Hearing
and give a possible recommendation.  
 
WHERE: Sheldon Richins Building (County Library Building at Kimball Junction) 1885 West Ute Boulevard, Park City, UT 84098.   
 
WHEN: Tuesday, February 9, 2015 6:45pm-ish. The item is 5th on the agenda that begins at 6:00pm.

Transit Center  
 
BACKGROUND: In July 2015 a Conditional Use Permit was approved for a new transit hub including a new 2,400 square foot building. The current proposal combines 2 lots into one so an expansion of the parking lot is possible. To get further details, Click Here to read the staff report.

Transportation Open House   
 
BACKGROUND: Long Range regional transportation planning has been an on going collaborative effort over the past year and more.

Public Land Initiative   
 
BACKGROUND: Back in October 2014 the Public Lands/Wilderness Advisory Group was formed to look at the North slope of the Uintas and consider wilderness expansion.
